Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Replenish, Restore; Earth Day


I have put together a little round-up style post of some of the many photos I or the talented Kristen of KM Photography KM Photography have snapped so far this spring!    




I will be celebrating Earth Day tomorrow by collecting trash around the city- which just so happens to be our countries Capital!
There are so many ways to get involved and jump on board to do some Good this Earth Day! Another way is to visit EarthDay.ca & pledge to help plant 25000 Trees to grow a new Canadian forest! Jump on board & sign the Digital Flag now! You can also plant a Tree yourself!

Fruit Protein Crumble Recipe

A delicious Fruit Protein Crumble made with Arbonne Vanilla Protein Powder that can be made using absolutely ANY fruit you prefer or happen to have on hand!                                                                 

  • 6-7 cups of fruit (enough to fill the entire pan about 1/2 full)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar In your Pyrex / Baking Pan (some say to let this sit for a few hours but I have always just let it sit for the length of time it took me to prepare the crumble portion and it hasn't failed me yet)                  

In a seperate bowl mix

  • 1/2 -1 cup flour + 1- 2 scoops Arbonne Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar   
  • 1 cup oats                            
  • using a fork press in 5-6tbs of butter/vegan butter {you could also experiment with different oils such as coconut or peanut oil, whatever you prefer}
  • bake on a baking sheet with parchment in the oven at 350 for 10 min      
      
  • place pre-baked crumbles on your fruit mix 
  • place back in the oven for another 10-15 min (until bubbly/golden brown.)
Enjoy as a delicious breakfast, snack, or desert at home (served warm) OR on the go (cold)!
